This is accompanied by a range of 20th-century fire trucks, including a 1937 model, a 1937 Flood, a 1927 Ahrens-Fox and a 1953 Seagrave.
There are a lot of other souvenirs everywhere, such as historic alarms, lamps, uniforms, helmets, axes and fire marks. Much of the contributing architecture dates from the 1870s to the mid-20th century, in styles ranging from the Italianate to the Gothic Revival, late Victorian, fine art and colonial revival. An exceptionally old property in the city center is Casa Grisamore (183), which combines federal and Greek Renaissance styles and was rescued from demolition in the 1980s. As you tour the museum, you can find information about some of Indiana's firsts that took place in Clark County, as well as about the underground railroad and life in the county during the Civil War. There are also miniature replicas of a Prohibition-era speakeasy bar, a late 19th century wedding hall, and a farm from the 1830s. A recommended stop in the heart of Jeffersonville is this green area, which has a history that dates back to the mid-19th century. At that time, this was the site of a bakery that manufactured tacks for Union soldiers during the American Civil War.
The space became a public park in 1881 and was renovated in early 2000s. As part of that process, Warder Park was chosen for a three-meter cast bronze statue of Thomas Jefferson weighing 900 pounds produced by sculptor Guy Tedesco for the city's bicentennial. Perrin Family Park has a lake with a feeding station for waterfowl as well as one acre playground with sandboxes and 1.25 mile paved trail.
